Safeguarding

Everyone's safety and welfare is our number one priority

WelfareReporting Concerns

Here at CISC, we want time spent with us to be enjoyable and for everyone to get the most out of the sport.

To help with this we have a set of behaviour standards that we expect every member, and parents / guardians, and staff to follow and adhere to, these are known as the Codes of Conducts

We ask that everyone is mindful, but especially when raising concerns, that this is a Club run by volunteers. We expect all interactions to be kept polite and that you ensure that you treat everyone with courtesy, dignity and respect at all times.

Anyone who has a concern about the welfare of a child or the behaviour of an adult towards a child or young person under 18 years of age within Swim England, is required to refer it to the Swim England safeguarding team. The Swim England team is staffed by individuals who are experienced in dealing with these concerns and have undergone specific training for those who have a designated role in child protection within sports.

Referring a safeguarding issue can be done via our Club, County or Regional Welfare Officer.

Our Club Welfare Officer can be emailed at any time CISCWelfare@outlook.com

The Swim England Essex email address is welfare@essexswimming.org

The Swim England East Region email address is welfare@eastswimming.org
