Layla Richardson Layla has worked her way through swim school and has overcome a huge fear of deep water and is now progressing. She wouldn’t jump in from the side or from the blocks but is now learning to dive and swimming up and down confidently in blue hats.
A lovely sunny Autumnal day and Canvey descended upon the Basildon Phoenix Autumn Qualifier in force. The team consisted of some newcomers too, having Layla and Will entering their very first gala and swimming brilliantly with great composure.
