On Saturday 9th September the Canvey Island Swim Club arrived at the Garons Park Swimming Pool for the Southend hosted Mini League.
In addition to the team regulars, we had a host of first-time swimmers too, with Ayden, Tilly, Hetti and Thomas competing in their first Mini League gala….WELL DONE to them as they all slotted into the Gala groove and looked like they were thoroughly enjoying themselves.
The team put on a strong performance and despite the huge effort from the swimmers, the team ended the day in third place.
A massive thank you to the parents for bringing the kids along, the organisers and volunteers and of course the swimmers who were all very well behaved and represented the club brilliantly.
Roll on to the Next Mini League!!!!!!!
